Images

Jobs take a single image directly in the request. JPEG, PNG and TIFF are supported, up to 20 MB per image, one image per job.

Send it as a base64-encoded string or as a public http(s) URL: base64 for local files and privacy, URL when the image is already hosted somewhere. See the Image schema in the API Reference and Your first job.

The image is used for that job only and is not stored. Persistent file storage works in the Transkribus app and its API surface is announced in the changelog when it ships.
